Yellowman at Roseland Ballroom

Another year gone by, and Yellowman once again played the Refi Rock Halloween Show. For those of you who haven’t read anything about my past coverage of Yellowman and Refi Rock, the Refi Rock Shows are organized by the Boomer Esiason Foundation, that supports research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The last few [...]

Yellowman at Liberty Island

Yellowman played Liberty Island. It rained. They played two songs in a few minutes of sunshine. And then it poured. I spent the rest of the night chilling with the band…waiting for the next ferry off the island. I thought someone was going to get hurt for sure.

Making A Switch

I got back into film photography during the summer of 2005, and it didn’t take long for me to make the switch to digital.  Although I loved the way film photography looked (and still do), the speed that you can delivery digital files, and the lower cost of processing (I already had a decent computer [...]

The party was pretty wild with people dressed up in all sorts [...]

Farewell at The Duke

Hardcore

When talking about the music that I like, I’ve had some people tell me that they expected me to be into jazz and classical. Or maybe U2 and Radiohead. I’ve always found it strange. Not that I don’t like jazz and classical. Jazz and classical are great. But it’s not what I really love.

Yellowman

I started covering music shows when I was working at a startup music studio back in 2001.  I didn’t do it out of love for photography.  I wasn’t even really into photography at the time.  We just need photos of some of our artists and I turned out to be the best qualified.  So, I [...]
